Today was the day that the 2.0 firmware for the FUJIFILM X-Pro1 was released (during the first day of the photokina). This turns the X-Pro1 into a X-Pro1 mk II, good work Fuji (now work on the minimum shutterspeed with auto-iso pretty please for the 2.0.1).
One of the things that changed for the better was the manual focus, so I played with the Fujinon XF 35mm F1.4 R, manual focus and depth of field with a little toy car of my son.

When I was in Dusseldorf last week I visited a large bookstore while it was raining and I browsed through their large selection of photobooks. When I opened this book it immediately caught me because of the familiar places as seen in TV-series and movies but complete void of any life or movement. It seemed to be a documentary of a post-apocalypse civilization with beautiful black and white photos. So I bought the book.
