Model in the Rain

Yesterday I joined the Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk 2012 in Amsterdam, with Frank Doorhof as our walk-leader. Too bad it was a grey day with lots of rain. Frank also brought with him two models but I didn't shoot them a lot because there were 20+ photographers in front of me :-). But I liked this location so I took some photo's with the X100. The X-Pro1 was in my bag at that moment because of the rain. After the 2 hour photowalk we went to a Italian restaurant with all of the 50 photographers. And then Frank went with his models on a photo shoot in the Kalverstraat but I joined @Markkort and @PhotoMorna who had there own model Gende. First we started in the street but then it really started to pour so we continued in the Central Station. More photos will be coming, but now I'm preparing for the photo shoot with Tom Beek who will be recording his new album in Hilversum today.

Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk

This Saturday I'm joining the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk again, just like last year. This time I'm going again with Frank Doorhof, but now in Amsterdam. Last year I went two days in Kampen. Here are some of my favorite shots of last years walk; most are taken with the Fuji FinePix X100 but some with the EOS 7D because I lent the X100 to Frank for a few hours so he could test it. He loved the quality and handling but had some problems with the focussing. [photo_gallery][/photo_gallery]

The Long Exposure eBook

I love doing the long exposure photography occasionally, as seen is this photo above, which I took during our holiday in Austria. Some people are wondering how I make these photos and who better to explain this process then David Cleland with his new eBook "The Long Exposure" which he has just released. And as a bonus there are 6 preset for Lightroom to help getting the right look.

It's a beautiful book with lots of information and really beautiful, inspiring examples of long exposure photography.
