Quiet Earth, part I
For my work I was in Zeeland today and on my way back I just had to stop and take a picture here. Did a long exposure with the Zeiss Sonnar T* FE 55mm F1.8 ZA and a B+W 10 stop ND filter. This resulted in a 25 second exposure at f/14, ISO 100. There was a very strong wind so I had to use my body as a human windshield, but still it's not tack sharp.

The Long Exposure eBook
I love doing the long exposure photography occasionally, as seen is this photo above, which I took during our holiday in Austria. Some people are wondering how I make these photos and who better to explain this process then David Cleland with his new eBook "The Long Exposure" which he has just released. And as a bonus there are 6 preset for Lightroom to help getting the right look.
It's a beautiful book with lots of information and really beautiful, inspiring examples of long exposure photography.

Timescape
Our last day of the vacation in Austria. So before we leave I had to make another daylight long exposure of a nearby waterfall. This is with the Fuji FinePix X100 + B+W ND110 filter and a exposure of 52 seconds. Post processing with Lightroom 4.2rc and Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.
This was in Hollersbach, right beside our little village Dorf. We saw this the night before when my father took us to a little restaurant in the mountains for diner. Lovely diner with a great view.
