A few weeks ago I bought a Yongnuo speedlite and a Cactus 6 wireless trigger set to use together with the FUJIFILM X-Pro1. I already had a lightstand and a lastolight Ezybox. As a second light source I used a gold colored reflector. And the final ingredient of course is a model, but luckily Marit volunteered to pose. She made up all the poses, she wanted to sit down in a chair, she wanted to read, etc. But we had a lot of fun and I got to practice with different lighting setups and adjusting the manual settings of the speedlight.

No actual animals were hurt during the shooting of this photo....trust me, she loves Tuffy till dead...eeeh ;-)

Where the only winning move is NOT TO PLAY.
When I saw this wooden Tic, Tac, Toe game at my mother in law's I was reminded of the movie Wargames.
After the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk in Amsterdam Mark and his girlfriend Marianna asked me to join them on a little model shoot. I've never done this before but it's always fun to try something outside your comfort-zone. After our lunch we were joind by Gende, who was the model. Mark used a speedlight and Marianna and I did some available light portraits in the Kalverstraat. Because it was raining we quickly moved inside the Central Station and continued there. I used the FUJIFILM X-Pro1 in the Black and White with Red filter mode and the 3 B/W photos here are out of camera jpegs with minimal post.
